Dancing Cucumber...Dance, Dance...Yeah!
So um hum, I've been listening to an obscene amount of Veggie Tale's Silly Songs with Larry as of late, as Cole loves it. You'd think that he might be too young to appreciate it--au contraire, whenever it comes on, he starts jammin'. No lie. He particularly enjoys a Spanish song about the merits of a dancing and singing cucumber (aforementioned Larry), who simultaneously belittles translater (who happens to be a tomato, Bob) who is not nearly so gifted in the performing arts. It's really quite entertaining. As is the song about lips. Did you know (and I'll bet you didn't) that "oousta" is Polish for lips?
Anyway, Cole is doing wonderfully. He's reaching and grabbing for things, and subsequently shoves every item into his cake hole. Oh, and he's recently discovered his feet, which is a riot. He looks at them quizically, but he's starting to figure out that they do indeed belong to him. Strangely, he has one stinky foot. I know, that sounds bizarre, but it's oh-so-true. The left one. Really smelly, while the right one is fine. Go figure. So mommy sings, "Go tell it on the mountain," replacing the line about Jesus' birth with, "that Cole has a stinky foot." He seems to enjoy that. As he enjoys a book about a hippo's love for his belly button (also known as a bee-bo). We read that one everyday; I have it entirely memorized.
That's all for now; am going to post some pictures here, taken in the last week or so.
